For connoisseurs of beasts, the Kashgar Sunday animal market cannot be beat in Central Asia. Personally, one beast looks the same as another to me, and I was hardly more enlightened after the experience.
Of particular [morbid] interest were these goat heads, of which a local favorite - goat head stew -is concocted.
