The illustrious (late) Hunter S. Thompson has found his way onto a prominent old wall of Almaty.
No idea who this is.
Unknown.
This appears to be a side-profile of Kazakhstan's President-for-Life, Nursultan Nazarbaev.
This blog is intended as an outlet for the material - mainly photos and scribblings - produced during my wanderings through Asia. Besides coverage of obscure locations and Quixotic travel initiatives, there will be comments on strange foods; considerations of politics, history, and culture; and also a bit of subjective news and opinion thrown in there.

Hmmm...I do not recognize the faces in question either. Could make this into a contest. Guess the Almaty Stencil and win a glass of camel milk.
Here the camel milk is alcoholic, so it would be a worthy prize!
Haha camel milk? No one would go for that contest, it would not be a 'wrthy prize'. It's kind of annoying you'd make inferences like that, I'm think you've been watching too much Borat.
